Hey there! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to my appointment here, I received a PhD from the MIT Operations Research Center in 2020 and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015.
My research broadly falls under the categories of optimization and machine learning. At the moment I am particularly interested in developing algorithms for discrete/geometric optimization problems, learning Markov chain models, and solving linear inequality systems. I talk about some of these on this Optimizing You podcast.
My research is currently supported by AFOSR, CDC, and ONR.
